The added complexity of having to remember the moral of the fable and then the meaning of each tarot card makes this deck a bit challenging. Child, Seeker, Guide and Guardian replace the Page, Knight, Queen and King. Suits are Magic Wands (fairies or old wands), winged hearts, (mermaids) or old cups, Swords- (children on adventure), and Crystals, (Gnomes). Per Lerner, Wands represent intuition, creativity, all that is magical in Nature. Swords represent truth, valor and ability to cut through illusion. Winged hearts represent love, emotion, dreams, the feminine and qualities of the moon. Mermaids serves as guardians and protectors of love, human and divine. Earth crystals correspond to pentacles, money or security. The different cards offer perspective on how to manifest abundance.
Archangels are featured in this deck too. Lord Raphael is Guardian of Wands- you are blessed by presence of divine healing. Lord Michael is Guardian of Swords-you are weary and he is saying walk with humility, love, confidence, heart of gold and noble intentions. Lord Gabrielle is Guardian of Hearts- telling you of your spiritual rebirth and to be compassionate to the downtrodden. Build a bridge of trust to others around you. Guardian of Crystals is Gaia-be thankful of your gifts. Help Mother Earth. Treasure your friendships and thank those who raised you. Here I was surprised she didn't pick Archangel Uriel as he is concerned about the very same issue and is one of the four most mentioned archangels.
I want to say more and put off writing this entry trying to find the right words to capture the love and power of these cards. I still don't think I am doing it justice. Simply put, you must go to a shop and see them for yourself. They are beautiful and look like crayon drawings done by a passionate, life loving artist.
